How far is our office from Timberwood Park?
About seven miles by road. Timberwood Park is the unincorporated part of 78260 north of Stone Oak, with the lake and clubhouse area off Canyon Golf Rd. Our office is on Hardy Oak Blvd between Huebner Rd and Stone Oak Pkwy, roughly a mile north of Loop 1604 and a mile west of US 281.

From the subdivisions along Canyon Golf Rd, The Waters, The Links and Summerglen among them, the drive runs 15 to 20 minutes. Stonecrest and Woodland Hills sit on the Timberwood Pkwy side and take about the same. Both routes meet at Evans Rd, pick up US 281 south, and leave the highway one exit later at Stone Oak Pkwy.
Same-day emergency dental care for Timberwood Park patients
A molar that started throbbing overnight in Stonecrest doesn't have to wait for Monday. Call anytime. Between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM the front desk books you into that same day. After 8:00 PM a live answering service picks up instead, and you get the first appointment of the morning, 8:00 AM. Walk-ins are welcome too. A quick call from the road, though, means a room is already set up when you come off 281.
The exam and diagnostic X-rays start the visit. Our dentists find the cause, explain it in plain words and hand you a written price for treatment before anything begins. When the diagnosis allows, treatment happens at that same visit.
Parents near Pieper High School, Pieper Ranch Middle School or Specht Elementary know how a practice field can end a day. A chipped or knocked-out tooth gets seen the day it happens. On the drive down, keep a knocked-out tooth in milk.
Some situations need a hospital before they need us. If the swelling is climbing toward an eye or filling in under the jaw, if breathing or swallowing is getting harder, or if the jaw took a hard blow, an emergency room comes first. Methodist Stone Oak Hospital and North Central Baptist Hospital, the two emergency rooms near our office, are both in Stone Oak.
Open Saturdays and Sundays for Timberwood Park
Our chairs are open Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, the same hours as any weekday. A Saturday round at Canyon Springs Golf Club that ends with a cracked tooth becomes a same-day visit, not two days of waiting. We see patients until 8:00 PM nightly.
Nobody at the office is treating patients overnight. The phone, though, is answered at every hour, and a call at midnight puts you in the 8:00 AM chair. The weekend emergency dentist page explains what to do while you wait.
What an emergency dental visit costs for Timberwood Park patients
The emergency exam and diagnostic X-rays are $125, and it's the same on a Sunday as on a Wednesday. Treatment is a separate fee. You see the diagnosis, the options and the written price before you decide anything.
We accept cash, cards and most major PPO plans. Bring your insurance card and a photo ID. The cost and insurance page has the payment details, start to finish.

My child knocked out a tooth near Pieper High School. What should I do?
Grab it by the chewing surface, the crown, and stay off the root. A dirty tooth gets a gentle rinse and nothing more; no scrubbing. Keep it wet in milk or saliva, and on a hot day keep it cool. Call us from the field and drive straight down 281; we're open until 8:00 PM, game nights included.
